ActionQ is an inexpensive Workflow Automation software.
Running as a background service, it can trigger, within seconds, dynamic SQL, command lines (Exe, Batch, PowerShell...), REST API calls, and email messages in response to database, email, PowerShell, and folder events. It can also alert you when Windows Task Scheduler fails to launch a task.

Typical triggers include new leads, documents, credit holds, inventory shortage, schedule delays, complaints, support requests, pricing exceptions, returns, defects, cancelations, and system exceptions.

ActionQ has 32 and 64-bit versions. It can use any ODBC data source/target for events/responses. It can call any Windows software that accepts command lines (e.g. Visual CUT) or any REST API. This supports automating workflows such as alerts, database updates, capturing email attachments, approvals, reporting, exporting, printing, uploading/downloading/processing files, and emailing.
