Visual CUT is a better choice if you are looking for a tool to burst, automate, or enhance Crystal report processing.

CUT Light is a better choice if you need to enhance Crystal formulas with additional functions.

In 99% of the cases, either CUT Light or Visual CUT would be a better fit for your needs. Because of this, technical support for CUT will be provided only to address installation issues - not usage issues.

Overview

Crystal User Function Library (UFL): export, burst, email, write text files, read/write ini files, import Text/RTF/HTML files, get registry values, get User ID & PC name, convert time zone information, annotate reports, convert HTML to RTF content, and execute SQL statements.

This Crystal Reports utility installs as a User Function Library (and a detailed user manual), resulting in several new functions appearing under "Additional Functions" within Crystal.
